WELCOME

In our 4500 square feet, you can take a step back in time and explore the lives of the men and women who have served our tri-state communities; the development of uniforms, weapons, vehicles, animal partners, equipment, and vehicles; how law enforcement has changed over the years; and how the region contributed to the American model of policing.

We collect, display, and present history and artifacts of more than one hundred municipal, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies who have, for more than two centuries, served Boone, Butler, Campbell, Clermont, Dearborn, Hamilton, Kenton, and Warren Counties of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

At the Wall of Honor, view the pictures and stories of officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The Greater Cincinnati Police Museum, was awarded the 2010 Hamilton County Recorder's Griffin Yeatmann Award.

We Are Moving!

As often occurs with great ideas and hard working people, we have outgrown our current facility. We are looking for a centrally located 20,000 square foot space to call home by 2014. More importantly, we are raising funds to build the new museum. Please stay tuned as announcements will come through this and our FaceBook sites. Also, if you know of an applicable building, please contact the Site Committee at Curator@GCPHS.com
