Age: 57
Deputy Plummer, on October 27, 1917, was transporting a prisoner to Frankfort Penitentiary when a streetcar at the intersection of Fourth and Madison Streets, Covington, struck his vehicle. Deputy Plummer was seriously injured and died on October 28, 1917.
Deputy Plummer left a wife, Carrie B. (57), and eight children; Jessie (35), Frank (34), Leonard (31), Irene (28), Wayne (27), Thornton (24), and Christine (22). He had been the Campbell County Sheriff from 1895 to 1898.
