The Greater Cincinnati Police Museum is proud to show you our exhibits and remind you of the great heritage of law enforcement in the tri-state area.

We have guided small and large groups. We have set up tours during our open hours and, when groups cannot make our normal hours, we have arranged for Volunteers to be here in the evening and/or on our closed days. We even arrange to conduct tours of groups before or after their periodic meetings which we can host at the Museum.

We cater to all groups, including, but not limited to; children, church groups, civic organizations, conventioneers, families, fraternal organizations, handicapped, historical societies, law enforcement support organizations, out of town visitors, schools, scouts, senior centers, sports teams, etc.

  • Activities – Depending on prior notice, ages of the customers, and other criteria, we can conduct activities in conjunction with tours.  These can range from drawing and coloring to middle school level scientific exploration of forensic evidence to college and police recruit level instruction.
  • ADA – We are a fully ADA-accessible facility.
  • Chaperones – Many of our exhibits are within easy reach.  It is one of the things that people like about our Museum.  Therefore, we require a chaperone for each severely behaviorally or physically handicapped person, one for every five children, and one wife for every sophomoric husband.  We will try to provide a docent for every ten people in a group.
  • Cost – To make certain the Museum is available to all, we currently charge no fee.  We do accept donations, of course; donations are our only source of income.
  • Size – We have conducted tours for as many as 150, however fire regulations require that we have no more than 50 in the building at any one time.  Meetings are generally limited to 28 people.  Children’s activities are restricted to 16, or less depending on age and activity.
